Shawn Wooden has been considered a rising star in Hartford area Democratic Party circles for 20 years. In early January, he was elected to his second two-year term as Hartford City Council president.
The 44-year-old Day Pitney partner has also made a name for himself in financial law. In recent years, he has been the attorney of record at the center of some eye-popping deals, including a $600 million investment with hedge funds on behalf of New Jersey retirees.
