Waterbury criminal defense and personal injury lawyer Timothy Moynahan, who has practiced for 50 years, has no shortage of courtroom wins under his belt. But when Post University students mention his name in the future, it will likely be in reference to a trip to the school library rather than a nearby courthouse.
On May 10, Waterbury-based Post gave Moynahan an honorary Doctor of Letters degree — and announced it was naming the law section of the university library after him. “These are two tremendous achievements and recognitions for me,” said Moynahan. “Having practiced law in Waterbury since 1964, I am very grateful to receive such notable and revered recognition.”
