In alleging a form of reverse discrimination, 13 inspectors from the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles are hoping there is power in numbers.

The plaintiffs, represented by attorney Frank Canace, of Plantsville, have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit claiming they were passed over for promotion to the position of motor vehicle inspector sergeant in 2012 when the position went to a younger African-American man.
