Nearly all of the Hartford office of Bingham McCutchen will be absorbed by Morgan, Lewis & Bockius by the end of the month, with more than 25 lawyers making the move to Morgan Lewis.
On Nov. 14, executives of the international firm voted to admit a total of 226 partners from Bingham as new partners, leaving some to fend for themselves. With the partial merger, Morgan Lewis will become one of the largest firms in the world, with nearly 2,000 lawyers in 28 offices, including Hartford. Earlier this year, Morgan Lewis placed 12th on the Am Law 200, based on revenues.
