The end of the calendar year is a time of celebration and reflection. Our neighborhoods are ablaze with twinkle lights; children are effervescent over snow days and winter vacations. The hubbub of office parties and celebrations can buoy our spirits and create a sense of connection to our personal and professional communities as we bring the year to a close. We are often more open and giving of ourselves during this time. This can be a season of joy; of discovering or sustaining a light on the darkest days of the year.

For many of us in the legal community, the demands and responsibilities of clients, court appearances and the endless pressure of the bottom line create stress that can be difficult to surmount.
