David Walsh Jr. v. Peerless Insurance Co.: A high school girls’ soccer coach who was permanently injured in a car accident was recently awarded $99,000 by a New London jury.

David Walsh Jr., 65, was taking his elderly mother to a doctor’s appointment in Stonington on the morning of Dec. 15, 2009, according to his lawyer, Isabel Del Vecchio, of the Law Firm of Stephen M. Reck, in North Stonington.
