David Stefanski and Penny Stefanski v. Scott Steele and Sandra Steele: A United Postal Service delivery person who was unable to work again after injuring an ankle on a customer’s icy driveway has settled his lawsuit for $1.1 million.
At about 7 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2011, David Stefanski was delivering a package for UPS to the Burlington residence of Scott and Sandra Steele, according to Stefanski’s lawyer, Paul Edwards, of the Woodbridge firm of Deakin, Edwards & Clark. It had snowed the night before but had stopped by about 10 a.m. on Feb. 8, said Edwards. Stefanski was delivering a package that contained a doll; Sandra Steele had a large collection.
