The executive director of the Connecticut Democrats is being tapped to run the state’s Department of Consumer Protection.
Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy announced that he has selected Jonathan Harris, an attorney and former state senator from West Hartford, to replace William Rubenstein. Rubenstein, who helped to implement the state’s medical marijuana program, recently announced plans to retire.
