MacDermid Printing Solutions v. Cortron Corp.: Last month, a U.S. District Court judge in Connecticut awarded a Waterbury business $27 million in punitive damages, the largest punitive damages award in Connecticut history, according to the plaintiff’s lawyers.

Now, just a few weeks later, the same judge has awarded the printing company an additional $14.7 million in offer of compromise interest and $2.6 million in attorney fees. Add all of those awards to the original $19.7 million in compensatory damages and it equals a historic verdict for Waterbury’s MacDermid Printing Solutions.
