The national firm of Dickstein Shapiro has expanded its corporate and finance practice by hiring Gloria Skigen to be a partner in the firm’s Stamford office.

Skigen comes to the firm from Martin LLP, which is also based in Stamford. She represents investors in venture capital and private equity transactions, structures mergers and acquisitions transactions, and provides business advice for institutional investors as well as middle-market and start-up companies. She has more than 26 years of experience, and has provided corporate legal counsel to clients in numerous industries, including life sciences, specialty pharmaceuticals, medical devices, information technology, clean technology, energy, and consumer products.
