Work-disrupting storms have become such frequent events this winter that many Connecticut lawyers have begun planning client meetings around the icy weather. Ira Bloom, a senior partner at Berchem, Moses & Devlin in Milford, said that after a series of storms forced office closures in January and February, he started to think ahead.
“When I leave the office on Friday evenings, I just figure we will be closed on Monday,” Bloom said. “So I take enough work home with me. I never knew there were so many three-day weekends.”
