A national law firm is expanding its corporate and finance practice in Connecticut, adding two new partners in the state and a third who will eventually split her time between New York and Stamford.

Dickstein Shapiro moved into the Connecticut office in November 2010 and now has 11 attorneys in the state. It’s put an emphasis on the corporate and finance practice, which focuses on “middle-market transactions” — that is, deals in the $10 million to $500 million range.
