The Mashantucket Pequot tribe has three new judges, all of whom are from out of state, of Native American heritage and can claim lengthy legal careers.
The Tribal Council has reappointed one judge to the trial bench, Jean Lucasey, following her departure over a decade ago for family reasons. Two other judges, Robert Blaeser and Thomas Weathers, have been appointed to the Mashantucket Pequot Court of Appeals.
