A Cromwell man unhappy about his divorce proceedings has been convicted of threatening a judge through statements made in an email.

Superior Court Judge David Gold has found Edward Taupier guilty of threatening, disorderly conduct and breach of peace. Taupier was charged after making comments in an email suggesting that he would like to shoot Judge Elizabeth Bozzuto, the state’s chief administrative judge for family matters.
