Does Connecticut provide adequate funding to public school districts? A decade-old lawsuit accusing the state of providing insufficient resources to poorer districts is finally going to trial Jan. 12.

The trial in Connecticut Coalition for Justice in Education Funding v. Rell is expected to be a long one, and Hartford Superior Court Judge Thomas Moukawsher has reserved dates through May.
