A former Woodbury attorney who was convicted of embezzling over $1.8 million from the estate of an Oxford woman has been sentenced to 45 months in prison.
U.S. District Court Judge Janet Bond Arterton imposed the sentence on Peter Michael Clark, 58, of Woodbury. Clark’s defense counsel said his client is “remorseful,” and took the money after his law firm began faltering in the struggling economy.
