It’s a short legislative session this year. Nevertheless, the General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee has a fairly ambitious to-do list.
It includes reforming the bail and juvenile justice system, taking additional steps to combat domestic violence and regulating drones. And the committee that’s mostly known for its impact on the Judicial Branch and the legal community even has ideas to make the state more business-friendly.
