A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by a veterinarian facing possible disciplinary action for giving smaller vaccine doses to small pets, a practice the veterinarian asserts reduces the chances of an adverse reaction.

John Robb of New Fairfield sued the Connecticut State Board of Veterinary Medicine and its five members in U.S. District Court last June for attempting to discipline him for his vaccine protocols. Robb claimed having three veterinarians on the board violates federal antitrust laws. He asserted the defendants have conspired to restrain trade through an agreement to remove any veterinarian who offers reduced vaccine dosages.
