A Danbury attorney who recently died from injuries in a bicycling accident is being remembered by his colleagues and friends for his skills as a lawyer, his ethics, his cycling achievements and his desire to help animals. David Burke, 63, of Redding, died on March 15, three days after hitting a pothole while cycling with friends and being thrown from his bike.

Burke, a partner at Cramer & Anderson, worked in the firm’s Danbury office, and his colleagues said he was instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence in the western part of the state.
