A New Haven rabbi has been accused in a federal lawsuit of sexually molesting a male student at a Jewish school hundreds of times over a three-year period beginning in 2002. According to the Associated Press, Rabbi Daniel Greer has denied the accusations.

The lawsuit was filed by Eliyahu Mirlis, who as a child attended the Yeshiva of New Haven and The Gan School, where Greer was the rabbi and school principal. Both the yeshiva and school are defendants in the case as well as Greer.
