Bruce Rubenstein is still fighting The Man. In his youth, Rubenstein did so by joining left-wing groups such as Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Weather Underground. As an adult, the Hartford personal injury lawyer has threatened to file a lawsuit against the University of Hartford, which is considering selling off its political memorabilia collection, some of which was donated by Rubenstein.
In his younger days, the idea of compromise probably would not have sat well with Rubenstein. But in recent days, he and the university have begun to discuss a resolution to the highly publicized dispute.
