Competitors in the niche market of stormwater chamber manufacturing are also going head-to-head in a Connecticut federal court after one accused the other of patent infringement.

The companies make underground structures used to retain rain and snow stormwater below ground, including under parking lots, fields or roads. Stormwater collects inside the chamber, and then seeps out of its bottom surface, filtering through the surrounding soil.
