Current Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane will serve another five years in his position, while another longtime prosecutor will fill the top spot in New Haven.
At its meeting July 1, the Criminal Justice Commission approved the reappointment of Kane to a third term, and it also appointed Patrick Griffin as the new State’s Attorney for the Judicial District of New Haven.
