Bullying sucks. Bullies suck. They are in our workplace, in our schools, in our homes. They are everywhere. Some would say that is just what life brings you. Bullying is not new. It has been around for centuries. Suck it up, some would say. It is a fact of life that bullies are out there. And without bullying, many of us would not have risen to where we are now. But the bullying that goes on today is different than it was years ago. Cyber bullying has led to multiple deaths across the United States. It is a different kind of bullying that leads to catastrophic losses.
Schools are a place where our children are supposed to be kept safe and protected. And yet is it far easier to expose a Fortune 500, publicly traded company that has no interest in safeguarding or protecting children to civil liability than it is to expose schools to civil liability.
