Gary Douglas was the prime suspect in the rape of a Sacred Heart University student. Pictures of him and his car were widely distributed by the SHU Department of Public Safety last March, just days after the rape took place.
The only problem was that Bridgeport police identified a man named Alfonso Reid as the perpetrator, arresting him within a week of the crime.
