As Amtrak starts to settle suits brought in the wake of the 2015 derailment that killed eight people, suits continue to be filed, including one in the District of Connecticut.

William Herlihy, one of the passengers aboard the train that derailed in Philadelphia last year, is just one of dozens who have sued the National Railroad Passenger Corp. He filed his federal lawsuit on Aug. 12 and is seeking monetary damages.
