A 19-year-old college student struck by a car while crossing a neighborhood road in North Haven has settled her lawsuit against the vehicle’s driver for $2 million.

On the evening of June 6, 2013, Victoria Schnaufer was going door-to-door in a residential neighborhood as a volunteer for an environmental advocacy group, according to her lawyer, Ron Etemi, of Trantolo & Trantolo in Waterbury. Schnaufer was with a group as part of her training.
