A Groton-based nonprofit organization trying to erase the stigma of opiate addiction is getting help from a well-established law firm in New London.

Lawyers at the law firm of Suisman Shapiro wanted to give something back to the community, and when they heard about the work of Community Speaks Out Inc., they decided they could help in many ways, including offering their pro bono services to help the organization get nonprofit status.
