Former professional wrestler Hulk Hogan agreed to settle his case against Gawker Media for $31 million, according to bankruptcy court documents filed Wednesday.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, won a $140 million Florida state court judgment against Gawker after the company published a video of him having sex with a friend’s wife. The litigation, funded by tech mogul Peter Thiel, led Gawker to file for bankruptcy in New York.
