A Middlebury woman who was seriously injured in a personal watercraft accident has received $255,600 as a result of binding arbitration in October.
Monike Hayden was riding on the back of a watercraft driven by her husband, Shawn Hayden, on Candlewood Lake in Brookfield on June 15, 2014, when they struck a large boat. The accident threw the couple from the watercraft.
