NestlÉ Waters North America’s legal department is heavily committed to charitable and pro bono efforts, including a “corporate citizenship goal,” seeking to deepen its involvement in community affairs at the local level. The department pursues that goal via volunteering and contribution. Through August, the department had contributed more than 700 hours for 2016, and is pushing to increase volunteer hours. A formal pro bono program currently is being developed, and possible projects are being evaluated. We asked the inhouse department to provide more insight about their approach to community service.
What types of community service did your department undertake in 2015?
