When Axinn Veltrop & Harkrider was founded nearly 20 years ago, the firm had a simple, but ambitious goal: create a smaller firm of litigators that could go up against the biggest firms in the world while maintaining the resposiveness, attention and value of a boutique firms. Or as the firm likes to say: “We want to go head-to-head with Wall Street firms, but we don’t aspire to become them.”
Axinn takes pride in the fact that all its lawyers are litigators and focuses on three practice areas: antitrust, intellectual property and complex litigation. Whether it’s trying a bet-the-company patent infringement suit or acting as global competition counsel on a major merger, Axinn knows it’s going up against firms ten or twenty times its size.
