An Avon attorney who pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $200,000 from his former employer was sentenced in federal court Friday to two years in prison followed by three years of supervised release.
Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer, of U.S. District Court in New Haven, handed down the sentence against 54-year-old Craig Larsen, who was the general counsel for New Jersey-based Maximum Human Performance. The conditions of the supervised release require Larsen pay $500 per month to the company until the $203,988 he embezzled is paid off.
