Probably the most awaited Connecticut Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) event of the year is the Connecticut Bar Foundation/Quinnipiac Law School John A. Speziale ADR Symposium. The first of these programs was held in 1998 and each successive symposium has focused on critical areas of ADR. (Full disclosure: I served as the inaugural planning chairman for the series and for several symposia thereafter.)

This year’s symposium, held at Quinnipiac on March 17, examined important issues in environmental and land use disputes as well as emerging ADR methods to resolve them.
