When an assistant corporation counsel attorney filed a Freedom of Information complaint against his boss last year, to see just how much outside counsel had been paid to represent the city, it marked a first for the city of Stamford.
But according to attorneys hearing cases for the Freedom of Information Commission, requests to view itemized legal bills have become more common in the past year.
