Admitting that the pressure is mounting for the state to secure a death penalty sentence in the murder of a Hartford police officer, prosecutors are tightening defendant Alex Sostre’s noose.
According to Assistant State’s Attorney Michael O’Hare, the stakes in the case against Sostre have increased, just as the three-year anniversary of the death of Sostre’s victim-Hartford Police Officer Brian Aselton-draws near.
