I once knew a guy from Boston who drove to the Grand Canyon, looked around for maybe an hour and then promptly drove back. Another guy, looking for an old girlfriend he hadn’t seen in years, ended up sleeping in a public park. Both of these guys probably needed more and better medication.
Then there’s my friend Pat McCafferty. More than a few people call him a wild man, a risk taker and a smooth negotiator. Still more call him a great cop.
