Effective media relations, as well as most forms of sales and marketing, is very much a reflection of one’s ability to engage in healthy human dynamics. It is much more an art than a science.
However, there are some simple dos and don’ts when approaching the news media that will enhance any lawyer’s chances with the press, whether one’s words will eventually be recorded by camera, on audiotape or into a notebook.
