Christine Silver never saw what hit her as she tried to drive into the Westport train station lot.
A motorist waved her Jeep forward in front of a stopped line of cars, but out of sight, from the far side of the line of cars to her right, Maria Martinez’ van hit her broadside, spinning Silver’s Jeep 180 degrees. “I think if I was in a smaller car, I could have been killed,” said Silver, who had been on her way to New York City, where she’s the international art director for Business Week.
