Appearances are often deceiving, so I am sure there is more to the following than meets the eye. However, what is apparent is that it is time to rein in the prosecutors of this state. Acting with impunity breeds arrogance and sometimes waste.

The scene: GA 4 in Waterbury. A surprisingly bright courtroom packed with the accused and their lawyers on a recent Monday morning. Marshals patrol the aisles looking for an errant gum chewer, or someone with a hat on. People fidget nervously in their seats.
