In a wide-ranging conversation, the panel covered everything from the strategic role of marketing at their company to their most successful marketing tactics. The session began with a discussion of what exactly constitutes the next level for each company. As you would expect, their answers varied widely. For Timex, the next level is all about revenue growth. At research and advisory firm Gartner, the focus is on delivering predictable profitability, while for telecommunications manufacturer The Siemon Company the objective is to evolve from a product driven company to a customer and market driven one.
