U.S. Bankruptcy Judge John Olson slapped prominent Miami attorney Lida Rodriguez-Taseff with an interim sanction barring her from practicing in the Southern District of Florida's bankruptcy court for 90 days.
Rodriguez-Taseff was one of two Duane Morris partners facing sanctions in a complicated and increasingly contentious bankruptcy and ownership dispute over the shuttered Fashion Mall in Plantation.
The Fort Lauderdale judge cleared two other Duane Morris attorneys, Rudolph DiMassa and Lawrence Kotler. But partner Kevin Vance remains in the hot seat and must show why he should not face a similar penalty.
