GrayRobinson has formed a new practice group designed to advise colleges and universities on legal matters.

The firm's Higher Education Practice Group will advise clients on matters of litigation, employment and labor, government relations, construction, health care, immigration, real estate and other issues. It will be headed by Orlando shareholder Richard Mitchell.

GrayRobinson president and managing director Byrd “Biff” Marshall said the firm's involvement with universities dates back to the mid-1960s, when shareholder Charlie Gray was instrumental in creating the University of Central Florida.
