Just a few weeks after hobnobbing with beauty queens at the world-famous pageant he runs, celebrity developer Donald Trump was in Miami for a far less glamorous affair: testifying in Miami-Dade Circuit Court in a dispute with a tenant at the Trump National Doral Miami resort.

In a four-day trial, Trump told Judge Jose Rodriguez that his company should be allowed to break the lease of long-time resort tenant. Trump Endeavor 12 LLC bought the former Doral Golf Resort & Spa in 2011, assuming the lease that Florida Pritikin Center LLC had on the property.

Trump and others argued the Pritikin Longevity Center + Spa, a weight-loss and healthy-living facility on resort grounds, was running an operation that was not on par with the high-quality services offered elsewhere at the sprawling 800-acre resort.
