Tiger Woods' proposed casual-dining restaurant in Jupiter has been getting national attention but not because of its menu.

Woods, a longtime Jupiter resident, announced plans in September to open the Woods Jupiter Sports and Dining Club by the first week of April at Harbourside Place, a 10-acre mixed-use development touted as the city's new downtown.

But the restaurant came into the national spotlight this week after a “Sports Illustrated” interview with Harbourside developer Nick Mastroianni II went viral. The article quoted Mastroianni as saying Nike “has the rights to the name Tiger Woods,” which meant the golfer couldn't use his famous moniker on the restaurant.
