A new crop of managing partners has been named in South Florida this year—a more diverse group than in the past that includes several women and one African-American.
Some of the management changes were part of a firmwide management reshuffling, while others reflect a desire by firms to promote a new generation of leaders. Some were due to departures, while other changes flowed from a natural progression of managing partners ready to step down.
The changing of the guard is to be expected for what is largely a thankless task, said Joe Ankus, a legal recruiter and consultant with Ankus Consulting in Weston,
