After 37 years of private practice, Miami attorney Terry Vento has changed jobs for a cause that’s dear to her heart, becoming the first in-house general counsel for the Perez Art Museum Miami.

Vento, most recently a partner at Shutts & Bowen in Miami, served on the boards of the museum and its predecessors, the Miami Art Museum and the Center for Fine Arts, for 26 years. She also was the museum’s pro bono general counsel while at Shutts.
