Fernando de la Hoz, a Miami partner of White & Case, helped a consortium of Chinese companies complete a $7 billion purchase of the Las Bambas copper mine in Peru.
It was “the largest acquisition in Peru's M&A [mergers and acquisitions] history and I believe China's largest foreign mining acquisition to date,” de la Hoz said.
