The owner of a plane that crashed in February near Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport in Miami is facing two wrongful death lawsuits.
The widows of two Venezuelan travelers who were killed in the crash filed suit Monday against plane owner Aeropanamericano C.A., a subsidiary of the Brinks Co.
Juan Carlos Vetancourt De Lima and Francisco DiMarco Vegas died when the Beech 1900C aircraft's engine failed. The plane flew into a utility pole and crashed two miles from the runway.
