It turns out the bitter, drawn-out litigation over the shuttered Fashion Mall in Plantation isn't over.

The 33-acre site sold at auction in March for $37.7 million despite an unsuccessful move by majority shareholder Tangshan Ganglu Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. to block the sale.

But litigation continues in state and bankruptcy courts as the Chinese investors behind the failed redevelopment project continue to battle for control of US Capital/Fashion Mall LLC, Mapuche LLC and US Capital Holdings LLC—three companies involved in the development.
